Jonathan travels as a worship leader, choir and worship team clinician, and conference and retreat speaker. His passion is to build a legacy of encouragement living out his life verse, "The sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary" (Isaiah 50:4). Jonathan's home base is Matthews Memorial UMC in Madison, TN where he serves part-time as Director of Music. Jonathan also is privileged to serve as a Guest Services Representative at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital.

Leading Worship - Jonathan's worship leading is appreciated for the seamless musical flow and for the careful intertwining of Scripture throughout the seasons of singing.
Preaching - Jonathan has become known for teaching and exhorting using effective and memorable visuals and for providing meaningful ways to actively respond to the Word.
Ministering in Music - Jonathan is equally comfortable ministering solo on the piano or by singing. Over the years, friends have described him as having qualities of Dennis Jernigan and Don Moen.
Leading Choir and Worship Team Clinics - Jonathan has directed church choirs for 27 years. His passion is to help choirs and worship teams minister skillfully, authentically, and in humility.
Leading Retreats and Conferences - As a speaker, Jonathan is passionate about seeing people overcome hindrances and to take steps toward a deeper place of intimacy with God in their faith journey. Topics often revolve around healing, surrender, forgiveness, and worship.
